HQL: Healthcare Offers A Defensive Play For A Volatile Market With Solid Growth Potential Summary Healthcare can be a good way to ride out the current market volatility due to its highly defensive nature. HQL is a healthcare fund focused mostly on the biotechnology space, which is one of the highest growth sub-sectors of the industry. The fund is invested mostly in large-cap companies, with a bit heavier weightings in a few of them than I would really like to see.
