One time, in a dark room somewhere in Greenpoint in Brooklyn, I started crying out of nowhere during yoga class (silent tears, don't worry). This hadn't happened before, so I made it my mission to answer this question: does yoga, with its dedication to controlled breathing, core work and flexibility, have the ability to "unlock" pent-up emotion?
