The Chinese online insurance product and service platform reported second-quarter adjusted earnings per share of two cents, up from the prior year's loss of 20 cents. Quarterly sales rose to $55.38 million, up from $38.94 million a year earlier. In the second quarter, Huize's first-year premiums surged 73.1% year over year to 1.127 billion Chinese yuan ($158.316 million), while gross written premiums rose 34.4% to 1.796 billion yuan.
