Huntsman Corp.'s Asset Sale Spurs Buybacks, Sports 13% Total Yield Summary On August 7, 2019, Huntsman Corp. announced a massive $2 billion asset sale and said it would "aggressively" buy back shares under its $1 billion share repurchase program. The stock is severely undervalued based on the company's free cash flow guidance once the sale closes at the end of the year. It's 3.2% dividend yield plus expected buybacks representing 9.5% of its market value gives the stock an expected total yield of 12.7%. Based on my adjusted comp analysis, its true value is $31.00, over 53% higher than today's price. Huntsman Corp.'s (NYSE: HUN When Huntsman Corp. presentation "accelerate" HUN made it clear that investors could expect $944 million in stable EBITDA earnings once the loss-making subsidiary is sold.
