ORANGE, Conn., January 26, 2026 BUSINESS WIRE )--The Avangrid Foundation, the philanthropic arm of leading energy company Avangrid Inc., a member of the Iberdrola Group, today announced that it has awarded $250,000 in grant funding to 13 wildlife rehabilitation centers across the nation as part of its Wildlife Rehabilitation Program. The Program goals include supporting local organizations caring for injured wildlife, promoting public outreach and education about wildlife resources and energy, and strengthening relationships with the environmental community where the company operates. "Protecting our environment starts with dedicated partners, which is why we're supporting organizations doing critical work to rehabilitate and safeguard wildlife across the communities we serve," said Avangrid CEO Jose Antonio Miranda. "Through the Wildlife Rehabilitation Program, we are advancing vital conservation efforts and helping ensure a stronger, more resilient future for generations to come.
