Wainwright increased its price target for Intellicheck Inc (NASDAQ:IDN) stock to $8.50 from $6. The firm maintained a Buy rating on the shares, and stated that the decision was based on Intellicheck's promising growth path in identity verification. Specifically, the analysts explained that target upgrade comes down to Intellicheck's move away from struggling retail clients hit by high inflation and bankruptcies toward stronger areas like banking, title insurance, and automotive. These new focus areas, the analysts noted, have helped Intellicheck balance out big drops in retail sales.
