In the past five years, I have written a number of articles applying pivot analysis to the current market. Pivot analysis is a tool that should be in the toolbox of every trader and investor. Each time I write about it, I get a number of questions, and many readers have requested an overview of the technique. The term monthly indicates that the pivot levels are calculated using the prior month’s high, low and closing price.
