The U.S. Federal Reserve continued to ease policy, cutting rates by a quarter point at its meetings in October and December. The quarter was characterized by a broadening of leadership away from the mega-cap technology stocks that had been key drivers of market performance. Our holdings in biotechnology firms Argenx and Insmed (INSM) and pharma leader Eli Lilly all delivered strong returns and were relative outperformers.
