Apple deal rumors (still unconfirmed) sparked a sharp move. Even if real, fundamental upside wouldn't show up until 2027, with Kuo citing 18AP PDK timing into Q1 2026. The 118% rally since early August seems to be led by sentiment. This is a compliment for the company, considering its poor growth prospects over the next 12 months. The only clear fundamental improvement I see is margins/earnings: Q3 adjusted gross margin 40% vs. 35.7% consensus, and $0.23 adjusted EPS vs. $0.01, helped by Foundry cost cuts. In my view, shares stay at momentum traders' mercy until manufacturing contracts land.
