Intel have posted stronger recent stock gains, according to an Oppenheimer research note. Analyst Rick Schafer named Nvidia his top pick and set a $265 price target. He said the company's Blackwell Ultra racks should keep it well ahead of competitors, with the next-generation systems expected to stay roughly two product cycles in front of the market. Warning! He pointed to the company's performance-per-watt advantage, along with the software and networking ecosystem that helps keep customers tied to its platform. The note came as AMD and Intel have rallied on renewed interest in AI servers and central processors. Still, Schafer said those moves may have gone too far, too fast. He also noted that Nvidia trades at about 17 times its 2027 earnings forecast, below the broader sector average
