SHORT HILLS, N.J. and ISLANDIA, N.Y., March 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Investors Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISBC) ("Investors Bancorp"), the parent company of Investors Bank, and Gold Coast Bancorp, Inc. (OTC: GLDT) ("Gold Coast Bancorp"), the parent company of Gold Coast Bank, announced today that the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has approved the merger of Gold Coast Bank with and into Investors Bank. In addition, Investors Bancorp has obtained a waiver from the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System with respect to the merger of Gold Coast Bancorp with and into Investors Bancorp. The New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance and the New York Department of Financial Services have also approved the mergers. The shareholders of Gold Coast Bancorp approved the bank holding company merger in December 2019.The mergers are expected to be completed on April 3, 2020, subject to the satisfaction of a number of customary closing conditions set forth in the Agreement and Pl
