Los Angeles-based fast-casual chain Sweetgreen has announced the launch of wraps for the first time as the company looks to expand “beyond the bowl.” The salad brand is the latest in a long line of (mostly quick-service) brands that have jumped on this tortilla trend in 2026. Sweetgreen is testing out three varieties of high-protein wraps in the New York and Midwest regions, as well as select Los Angeles locations. True to the company's goals of focusing more on macronutrients and offering more affordable options for consumers, the wraps all contain at least 40 grams of protein and are priced under $15. Options include: Classic Chicken Caesar – Roasted chicken, Parmesan crisps, shaved parmesan, garlic breadcrumbs, chopped romaine, Caesar dressing, and lemon squeeze on a flour tortilla.
