JetBlue Flight 734 reported an odor in the cabin and landed safely around 3 a.m., Chris Mullooly with the FAA confirmed to USA TODAY. According to a statement from the agency, Airbus A321 departed the San Francisco International Airport and was headed to Boston when the incident occurred in flight. The flight tracking website Flight Aware shows the aircraft departed San Francisco at 9:26 p.m. on April 16, and was rerouted to Chicago O'Hare International Airport midair. It was not immediately known what caused the smell. The FAA said it will investigate the incident. USA TODAY has reached out to JetBlue for comment.
