The airline has confirmed that domestic first class will debut across its entire non-Mint fleet starting in 2026, marking the biggest cabin overhaul in JetBlue's 25-year history. Certification for Domestic First seats continues. Prototype slated to be installed on the first aircaft in JUNE 2026 with installations beginning in AUGUST for the A320s at approx. 20 aircraft per month. The aggressive timeline means JetBlue will retrofit approximately 20 aircraft every month once installations begin in August 2026. The project should be done by the end of 2027, transforming nearly 300 aircraft in just over a year. Unlike JetBlue's existing Mint business class with lie-flat seats and suites, Mini Mint will offer traditional domestic first class recliner seats. JetBlue has selected the Collins Aerospace MiQ seat for this new product, which is a standard seat that you'll find on many airlines.
