The city council approved a $10.6 million budget for the city-owned hotel during its Dec. 11 meeting, predicting the revenues will remain the same as in 2025 at $2.1 million. RECALL: Pints of So Delicious salted caramel cluster pints could contain stones, recall warns Walter Peseski, senior vice president with Garfield Public Private, presented the budget on behalf of Hyatt and said the city would be "significantly short" on funds to repay mounting hotel debt that has grown to more than $170 million. The city originally issued $28.715 million for its first lien, $27.16 million for its second lien and $21.215 million for a third lien. Payments due in April are $1.67 million on the first lien, $1.8 million on the second lien and $900,000 on the third lien. The third lien is paid with sales tax. "Under the debt service obligations, I cannot foresee occupancy getting to a point that will satisfy your debt service requirements," Peseski said. The hotel's capital budget is $241,0
