NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nuveen Energy MLP Total Return Fund (NYSE: JMF) and the Nuveen All Cap Energy MLP Opportunities Fund (NYSE: JMLP) previously announced that both funds intend to liquidate and distribute their net assets to shareholders. The funds now anticipate making a single liquidating distribution to shareholders in cash on or about May 8, 2020. As planned, the funds will continue trading on the New York Stock Exchange through May 4, 2020 and will be suspended from trading before the open of trading on May 5, 2020, after which time there will be no secondary market for the funds’ shares. The Board of Trustees have approved the liquidation and termination of both funds on or about May 8, 2020.Shareholders may recognize gain or loss for U.S. tax purposes as a result of the liquidations.
