Analyst Samik Chatterjee said in a note Tuesday that “lead times across the iPhone 17 series moderated by three days,” with average delivery times now around three days, matching levels seen during the same point in the iPhone 16 cycle last year. Chatterjee highlighted that Apple typically reaches a “parity of demand and supply towards the end of the year,” and the iPhone 17 series appears to be following the same pattern. The higher year-on-year demand had initially pushed delivery times longer during the post-launch quarter, but the gap is now said to be narrowing. Even the Base iPhone, considered the key driver of this cycle, saw lead times fall to the low-single-digit range, according to the bank.
