Ceskoslovenská obchodní banka served as the sole lender for the long-term renewable project financing, with Ceskoslovenská obchodná banka, a.s. Slovakia and United Bulgarian Bank acting as sub-participants. This financing will advance cross-border renewable energy operations in Slovakia, Czechia, Slovenia and Bulgaria. The transaction uses a portfolio project finance structure involving a single borrower and a single lender, with several operating companies acting as guarantors. The financing is set for a period of 22 years, reflecting a long-term approach to supporting energy transition initiatives in the region and Enery's planned expansion. The proceeds will be used to fund the development of a 300MW solar photovoltaic (PV) portfolio and 100MW/220 megawatt-hours (MWh) of battery energy storage systems (BESS) across the CEE jurisdictions.
