Other parts of the world are seeing prices edge lower amid more favorable Inflation may be cooling, but there's one part of Americans' routines that isn't yet feeling relief: a morning cup of coffee. Coffee was among the commodities hit by Donald Trump's tariff policies last year, with prices continuing to rise in 2026. Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that the average price of coffee across the US reached $9.37 per pound in January, a 33% increase since last year.
