Chowbey joined Kennametal ( KMT ) in 2021 as president of the company's Metal Cutting segment after spending more than 20 years at various industrial companies, including as president of the Services & Solutions business at Flowserve. Rossi has served as Kennametal's ( KMT ) President and CEO and a board member since August 2017, after spending nearly two years as CEO of Siemens' Dresser-Rand unit; he first joined Dresser-Rand in 1987. The company said it has launched a search for Chowbey's Metal Cutting successor, considering both internal and external candidates.
