dollars to pay for infrastructure projects supporting dairy plant expansions for fairlife and Chobani operations in west Michigan. The Michigan Strategic Fund on Tuesday approved about $17 million for Coopersville water infrastructure to support an expansion of fairlife, a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company, and $28 million for Norton Shores water infrastructure to support the expansion of La Colombe, a subsidiary of the Greek yogurt maker Chobani. The infrastructure funding will be financed through the state's Strategic Site Readiness Program and will still require approval from the Michigan House and Senate appropriations committees. The MSF board approvals on Tuesday also included a direct grant of about $5 million for La Colombe from the Michigan Business Development program and a 15-year State Essential Services Assessment tax abatement valued at about $3.9 million for fairlife.
