and high-performance microdisplays for defense, training, enterprise, industrial, consumer and medical products, today announced it has secured a new $3.6 million purchase order for an advanced avionic helmet-mounted display ("HMD") system to be integrated into a rotary-wing military aircraft platform for a European defense customer. The HMD system will serve as a critical component of the aircraft's pilot interface, delivering flight symbology, navigation cues, aircraft status, and weapon-system information directly into the pilot's line of sight. By projecting essential data onto a high-brightness, high-clarity display, the system enhances situational awareness, reduces cockpit workload, and supports safer, more efficient mission execution in demanding operational environments. Deliveries under this multi-year award will occur over a five-year period beginning in 2026, reflecting the long-term production and sustainment needs of the platform.
