The IRS is closed on Presidents' Day, Feb. 16 as it is an observed federal holiday with offices, walk-in services and phone lines unavailable for live services. However online services, including tools to check refund status, make payments and electronic filing systems will continue to accept submissions which will be processed when staff returns on Tuesday, Feb. 17.
