FAIRFIELD, N.J., April 29, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kearny Financial Corp. (NASDAQ GS: KRNY) (the “Company”), the holding company of Kearny Bank (the “Bank”), today reported net income for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 of $9.3 million, or $0.11 per basic and diluted share. The results represent a decrease of $1.4 million compared to net income of $10.7 million, or $0.13 per basic and diluted share, for the quarter ended December 31, 2019. Craig L. Montanaro, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, “During this extraordinarily difficult time our primary focus has been on the ways in which we can support our employees, our clients and the communities that we serve.
