KTOS's persistent negative free cash flow margin and heavy capex highlight fragile cash generation and execution risk. Valuation remains extremely stretched, with forward EV/EBITDA and P/E multiples far above peers, pricing in high growth. Portfolio sizing should be limited; KTOS's volatility and margin for error are high, making large positions inadvisable. Investment Thesis The primary reason for my interest in reviewing Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc.'s ( KTOS ) "dossier" now is because of a Buy recommendation issued by Jefferies . A price target of $85 was also established for the Company's shares. Since the shares are currently trading around $72, this target price represents a possible upside of nearly 18%. That caused me to review the Company's fundamentals further. I previously reviewed Kratos toward the end of 2025 and ultimately concluded with a Hold rating . At that time, I felt that the Company's latest quarterly report showed some strong performance;
