Held every five years, the gathering decides the new makeup of the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party and will complete a process of political consolidation for Xi that has been years in the making. The conclave is slated to begin on Oct. 18. “Every investor needs to have a China opinion, it’s the proverbial middleman in the global economy.
