Since I don't believe fundamentals justify such a steep sell-off, the investment case for Liberty Broadband has become even more compelling. Liberty Broadband is virtually certain to outperform Charter over the long-term thanks to a 28% NAV discount and accretive buybacks. As recently noted in my article “ How To Buy Charter At A 50%+ Discount ”, Liberty Broadband owns 26% of Charter, worth $13.5B after the crash, the Alaskan telecom GCI (acquired in 2017 for an EV of $2.7B), less $2.6B of net debt (excluding GCI's own debt).
