Leidos as a top-4 U.S. power and transmission & distribution engineering provider. ENTRUST brings roughly $650 million of annual revenue and the purchase implies about 16x next-12-month EBITDA ; the transaction is expected to close in Q2 2026 and be accretive to adjusted EPS in 2027 after one-time costs. Leidos plans to finance the deal with a committed bridge, issuing $1.4 billion of bonds, using $500 million cash and $500 million commercial paper, and expects "tens of millions" in synergies while leveraging cross-selling (cyber/IT) and scale in a consolidating energy-engineering market.
