Lands’ End gets sales boost from Delta Air Lines uniform launch Lands’ End Inc. said its first-quarter sales got a 12% boost, driven by Delta Air Lines Inc. after the apparel company delivered new uniforms to 64,000 of the airline’s employees in late May. The deal was part of the Lands’ End Outfitters business, which also got a number of new school uniform accounts and is in the planning stages for American Airlines Group Inc. AAL, -1.83% uniforms. “We’re also working closely with Delta to expand our product offering beyond the standard kits that we provided at launch, and expect to debut these products during 2018,” Lands’ End’s LE, +27.02% Chief Financial Officer James Gooch said on the earnings call, according to a FactSet transcript. “In addition to our Delta business, we are finalizing the launch of American Airlines. We currently expect this launch to take place in the fourth quarter of 2019, and we’ll update you on timing as we approach the date,” he said. Read: Analysts
