Japanese stocks rally as Hang Seng falls [MarketWatch]

The Hang Seng Index HSI, of Hong Kong companies fell 1.3% to 15,878.07, while Japan's Nikkei 225 Index NIK, gained 2.1% to 36,863.28. China's Shanghai Composite Index SHCOMP, gained 1.3% to 2,865.90, while The FTSE Straits Times Index STI, of Singapore stocks declined 0.5% to 3,140.27. The KOSPI Composite Index of South Korean stocks rose 0.4% to 2,620.32, while the S&P/ASX 200 Benchmark Index XJO, of Australian stocks increased 0.3% to 7,639.20. Advertisement Of the Hang Seng Index constituents, real estate services/transactions company Longfor Group Holdings saw the largest increase Thursday, as shares rose 2.7%. Shares of property managers firm Cn Rscs Mixc Lifestyle and semiconductors company Semicon Mfg Intl rose 2.3% and 2.3%, respectively. Shares of biotechnology services company Wuxi Biologics (Cayman) saw the largest decrease in Hong Kong, as shares weakened 7.6% on Thursday.
