in a deal expected to close in H2 2024, the companies announced Thursday. OPK shares added ~7% in the premarket after the announcement, while Labcorp ( LH ) traded flat. Per the terms, Labcorp ( LH ) will acquire BioReference's lab testing businesses focused on clinical diagnostics and reproductive and women's health outside New York and New Jersey. The companies added that the transaction includes BioReference's patient service centers, certain customer contracts, and operating assets.
