LianBio to Wind Down Operations, Declares Special Dividend [MarketWatch]

The biotechnology company said Tuesday that its board of directors had completed a strategic review and decided to take this course of action. Advertisement The board has declared a special cash dividend of $4.80 a share, including ordinary shares represented by American Depositary Shares, for a total of about $528 million. The ADSs will be delisted from the Nasdaq Global Market in March. The company, with offices in Princeton, N.J., plans to lay off more than 50 full-time employees initially and reduce its workforce over the course of 2024 as the wind-down continues.
