LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--LivaNova PLC (NASDAQ:LIVN), a market-leading medical technology and innovation company, today reported results for the quarter ended March 31, 2020.For the first quarter of 2020, worldwide sales from continuing operations were $242.4 million, a decrease of 3.4 percent on a reported basis and a decline of 1.8 percent on a constant-currency1 basis, as compared to the same quarter of the previous year. On the basis of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), first quarter 2020 diluted earnings per share from continuing operations were $0.79.
