(Bloomberg) -- Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth lamented what he called the defense industry's “risk-averse culture” and offered fulsome praise for Elon Musk as he toured the billionaire's SpaceX Starbase launch site in Texas. The visit and Hegseth's remarks dovetailed with the Trump administration's campaign to speed up weapons production and bolster innovation among defense companies.
