The F-35 is known for its stealth and power, but much of what enables its performance takes shape far from the runway. In fact, crucial components are being made right here at home. In Kitchener, Ont., engineers at Christie supply the LED technology behind an advanced training simulator that helps pilots prepare for complex missions long before they ever step inside the aircraft. That advanced training simulator leverages Lockheed Martin's AMorphic Appearance Zero-Projector (AMAZE) – a fully domed, non-projection visual environment that wraps around pilots to create a true-to-life training experience for all platforms. Christie supplies the MicroTiles LED video display system used in Lockheed Martin's AMAZE.
