RADNOR, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lincoln Financial (NYSE: LNC) today reported financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2025.Strong financial performance in the quarter demonstrates broadening of momentum and balanced growth across all business segments.Third quarter net income available to common stockholders was $411 million, or $2.12 per diluted share.Third quarter adjusted operating income available to common stockholders was $397 million, or $2.04 per diluted share.The difference between net income and adjusted operating income was primarily attributable to the non-economic impact of changes in market risk benefits and a change in the fair value of an embedded derivative related to the Fortitude Re reinsurance transaction.The annual assumption review resulted in a $50 million unfavorable impact to net income and a $2 million favorable impact to adjusted operating income in the quarter."This quarter’s results underscore the broad-based momentum across Lincoln as
