Effective Jan. 1, 2026, Bob Wright, chief executive officer of Potbelly, and Tana Davila, chief marketing officer of Dutch Bros Coffee, will join the company as independent members of the board. “I am thrilled to have Bob and Tana join our Board,” El Pollo Loco CEO Liz Williams said in a statement. “We believe that their significant restaurant industry experience will serve us well as we grow El Pollo Loco in our existing markets and across the country.” Wright joined Potbelly in 2020. Under his leadership, the sandwich chain expanded its footprint, its menu, and its digital capabilities. Earlier this year, it was acquired by RaceTrac, taking the company private.
