A substantial amount of LPG/NGL capacity is expected to come online through CY25 which should alleviate some of the pricing pressure for LPG. LPG stock is considering upgrading some of its fleet to carry ammonia as the hydrogen economy develops, which could provide opportunities in the emerging market. Dorian LPG ( NYSE: LPG ) experienced strong tailwinds in q3'24 that were matched with some significant macro headwinds and seasonality for spot rates. As the firm navigates through choppy waters on the geopolitical front, demand in the APAC region is anticipated to expand with new petrochemical capacity coming online throughout 2024-2025 paired with domestic production and pipeline capacity through 2025. Given the price disparity and the potentially challenging macroeconomic environment overseas, Dorian faces some headwinds as the global fleet is expected to increase by ~5% this year. I provide LPG a SELL recommendation with a price target of $34.88/share at 6.19x eFY26 EV/aEBITDA.
