Corp (NASDAQ:LRCX) is one of the suitors eyeing a potential deal to acquire BE Semiconductor Industries. Is Lam Research Corporation (LRCX) Eyeing Besi Industries Merger amid IBM Pact for Logic Scaling The report also indicated that Besi has already engaged the services of investment bank Morgan Stanley, as it evaluates the approach that has also attracted other suitors. Lam Research has allegedly held discussions with the Dutch company, which has a market value of about $16 billion. Lam Research has already established itself as a major supplier of wafer fabrication equipment to logic, memory, and foundry customers.
