In an April 15 business update, CEO Corie Barry commented on the company's swift transition to a social-distancing sales model, saying Best Buy employees, "seamlessly implemented a new and highly effective operating model in a matter of 48 hours across our entire store base." Earnings growth declined last quarter from 22% to 7%. But revenue gains moved higher, from 2% to 3% and Best Buy hiked its dividend by 10% . Look for the next earnings report on or around May 23. The business update came after Best Buy on March 22 went to a curbside pickup only sales model and made other alterations to continue to get products to customers.
