| Reuters The Las Vegas Sphere has already secured its place as one of the best displays off the Strip with its eye-catching visuals. Las Vegas tourism is experiencing a slowdown, with a 7.5% drop in visitors in 2025, its sharpest decline outside of the pandemic. The decline is most noticeable in leisure travel and during midweek periods, while convention business remains steady. Higher-income travelers continue to spend, but budget-conscious households are pulling back due to high prices and economic uncertainty. LAS VEGAS — On Fridays, it still feels like peak Vegas – rolling suitcases, packed rideshare queues and the familiar churn at Harry Reid International. By Monday, the airport has quieted considerably. "Our peaks are still peaks, and our valleys are softer," said James Chrisley, director of the Clark County Aviation Department.
