Dubbed Polybatch Effects FROST, these masterbatches offer a matte frost effect in two distinct styles, broadening the scope for creative packaging design. The new product grades are reportedly compatible with various colours and deliver a high-end appearance. Polybatch Effects FROST masterbatches not only enhance the brand image with their premium aesthetic but also improve the look of recycled PET, making it more appealing, according to the company. These grades are designed to be recyclable with NIR sorting compatibility and comply with the US Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) regulations for food and cosmetic packaging. Additionally, the masterbatches present a cost-effective solution as they can be used with existing injection stretch blow moulding processes. Polybatch Effects FROST can also be applied to personal and home-care product packaging.
