Lyft's ridership and bookings pushed second-quarter earnings higher and the ride-sharing app expects growth to accelerate in the current quarter. Lyft said rides rose 14% year over year, to 234.8 million, missing analyst views for 235.7 million. Its number of active riders climbed 10%, to 26.1 million, compared with analyst projections for 25.9 million.
