That easy and convenient value proposition is changing radically with the Feb. 7 launch of three new Bilt credit cards. Those new Bilt cards will still earn rewards for paying rent, but they will now include mortgages too, potentially broadening their appeal. Still, the new cards introduce a complicated rewards structure. Under the previous Bilt system, you just had to use your Bilt card for at least five transactions a month to unlock earning rewards on rent. Now you have to choose between two options.
