On April 13, 2026, JPMorgan analyst Sheel Shah has raised the price target on Lloyds Banking Group plc (NYSE:LYG) to 121 GBp from 117 GBp previously and maintained a Neutral rating on the shares. On April 8, 2026, Citi analyst Andrew Coombs upgraded Lloyds Banking Group plc (NYSE:LYG) to Buy from Neutral and increased the price target to 114 GBp from 106 GBp previously, saying it is “time to re-engage” with European banks. The firm noted the sector remains one of the few seeing earnings upgrades and expects potential rate hikes in Europe to support profitability.
