Live Nation Entertainment Inc. said Monday it is amending an existing credit agreement, tapping an additional revolving credit facility and launching a cost-cutting program as it works to combat the effect on live events of the coronavirus that causes COVID-19. The company said the amendment will suspend a net leverage covenant under its senior secured credit agremeent for the second and third quarters, offering it the flexibility to manage its business through the disruption expected in 2020. The company has received an additional revolving credit facility of $120 million, giving it about $940 million in available debt capacity. As of Feb. 29, the company's total cash balance was $3.3 billion, including $914 million of free cash and $2.0 billion of event-related deferred revenue. Combined with its now available debt capacity, the company has liqudity of $3.8 billion.
