As part of the tie-up, Mastercard will provide cutting-edge digital payment solutions to a network of 100,000 micro, small and medium enterprises (“MSMEs”) forming a part of the MaxAB platform. This, in turn, will smoothly automate and digitize the payment cycles of merchants and enable them to accept contactless payments from consumers. Access to the acceptance solutions suite of the tech giant will expand the MSME client base of the platform as Mastercard's digital prowess boasts a longstanding reputation of enabling merchants to get rid of tedious manual operational processes, address reconciliation issues, limit the incidence of frauds and boost business scale.
