Mastercard Incorporated (NYSE:MA) announced on March 17 a definitive agreement for the acquisition of BVNK for up to $1.8 billion, including $300 million in contingent payments. BVNK is a leader in stablecoin infrastructure. Management stated that the deal expands the company's end-to-end support of digital assets and value movement across currencies, rails, and regions.
