Financing included participation by healthcare-dedicated investors alongsideexisting shareholders CHICAGO, IL, March 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MAIA Biotechnology, Inc., (NYSE American: MAIA) (“MAIA”, the “Company”), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing targeted immunotherapies for cancer, today announced the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 20,000,000 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $1.50 per share for aggregate gross proceeds of $30 million, prior to deducting underwriting discounts and other offering expenses. In addition, the Company has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 3,000,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price per share, less the underwriting discounts to cover over-allotments, if any.
