IHG Hotels & Resorts will bring a 480-acre Six Senses resort and residential community to Kanab in Southern Utah, in partnership with California-based owner and developer Canyon Global Partners, IHG announced last week. Six Senses Camp Korongo will include 41 luxury tented pavilions and 12 branded residences. The property will also offer the brand's Six Senses Spa as well as “opportunities for exploration and discovery,” with proximity to national parks including Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon and Arches, per IHG. With the resort, IHG aims to “set a new standard in ultra-luxury experiential travel in the Americas,” according to the company. The project comes amid Six Senses broader U.S. expansion, which has brought brand properties to other notable outdoor destinations, including Colorado.
